We successfully graduated the Fifth Batch of Fellows for the Conversations for Change (C4C) Global Entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme on December 6, 2023. An additional Twenty-three (23) young entrepreneurs received empowerment in the form of - training, inspiration, motivation, and equipment provision to help them carve out a place in society and use their abilities to better their communities, nations, and even the entire globe. We concluded the 2023 programme with a spectacular graduation celebration following a rigorous year of training and capacity-building seminars, internships, and business clinic sessions.

Inspirational young Nigerians who have demonstrated skill, innovation, passion, and grit regardless of the challenges of the year 2020.
Over the years and even more recently, I have come to realize that above any tips on mental health that anyone wants to give, love is still the best solution. I had to learn again that letting love rule my heart saves me from burning down the house, with me in it. It is never an easy step to take but it is worth it either ways.
So here it goes, my own definition of Love.

Wow! How things have changed! Our normal routines and habits such as hugging loved ones and shaking hands with business partners are now abnormal. Our private lives have been altered and so has work and business. The pandemic has left us either short of breath or waiting to exhale; but exhale, we must.
My grandfather was the most the most energetic man I have ever known - strong, hardworking and resilient. Until cancer struck! He got weaker and thinner as the days went by. Had one doctor’s appointment after another, several radio-therapies, and endless medications. At the end it was all a slow, painful journey till we lost him. The pain of his passing still remains......
The entire process taught me a lot. One of which is that staying healthy is non- negotiable! It has to be a conscious deliberate effort throughout the course of ones life - regular medical check-ups, healthy diets and other lifestyle changes.
We don’t have to lose our loved ones to cancer and the fight begins with you and I!
A New Year is like a blank book, and the pen is in your hands. It is your chance to write a beautiful story for yourself. Every end marks a new beginning. Keep your spirits and determination unshaken, and you shall always walk the glory road. With courage, faith and great effort, you shall achieve everything you desire.
Our hope and desire as an organization is to educate, inform and inspire young people towards national and global development, and the social media series is one of our many ways of doing so. This train that began with the post "Art of Social Media" has finally arrived at Instagram’s terminal point. Lol….and yes! It is INSTAGRAM and there is a new frenzy about it. Being one of the coolest social sites, Instagram has been able to keep its users engaged and consistently interested in its use. It should perhaps be more aptly titled the ‘app for the androids’ since you need a phone to fully enjoy it, this has not deterred any of its 200 million daily users (who are largely below the age of 39). It is obvious that the more you know about Instagram, the better you will be at using it. So let’s begin…..
Let’s face it, new entrants into any business have their work cut out for them. They have to convince potential customers that their product or service offering is worth paying for. Also, they have to work to keep and grow their market share. At the heart of these daunting tasks is the essential task of keeping up with existing competitors.
She will rather starve than see you go hungry. When you're sick, she forgets everything else but you. She is a blanket for her children when they are cold. Daily, you are her priority. A mother is soft, gentle and tenderhearted, yet she becomes a ‘mamazilla’ when her cubs are in danger. She unconditionally protects and serves. She corrects and forgives at the same time. Her worth is undeniable.
The theme for this year’s World Press Freedom Day- “Critical Minds for Critical Times: Media’s role in advancing peaceful, just and inclusive societies” speaks to the value of the press in achieving a truly just society. A society where information is consistently made available to the public, to ensure better policy making and positive changes.
